I have had my Sarka 500 series Natural Gas grill for about 5 months now. It is awesome. It is very different from the cheaper grills found at Home Depot or Lowes. It uses all indirect heat but cooks at very high temperatures (600 to 700 degrees) So, just like the restaurants, you’ll be able to cook anything without burning it. It is nearly impossible to have a flare up in a Sarka grill because the flame is not exposed. It gets hot enough to carmelize the outside of meats and vegetables to a beautiful brown. It gives meats a chance to get done evenly without burning up.

By the way, as a company, Sarka is VERY responsive to your needs. They even created a custom handle for me at no charge. I have a problem with my hands that necessitated a bigger handle; they created it and shipped it at no charge. Try that at Home Depot or Lowes… ha ha ha!

I’m told they only make a few hundred of these a year. Rolls Royce makes more cars than that. This grill will last forever; it is entirely made of very thick, extremely high quality stainless steel. Sarka’s major business is making commercial restaurant grade stainless steel products, these grills are a fortunate sideline.

If you’ll throw a few mesquite or hickory chips in the drip pan, you’ll have the most amazing smoked foods. Since it is indirect heat and it is a well sealed cooking area, the smoking effect is great.

No, I don’t work for Sarka. This is the biggest purchase I’ve ever made, sight unseen, on the web and I’m glad I did. They have very few dealers and you probably won’t be able to go see one before you buy it. Rest assured the grill is of the highest quality and is fairly easy to assemble.
