My step father and I have a “thing” going to see who can get the better toys. He has me beat with the Harley, but I took the grill department with this Coleman grill. I bought mine at Lowe’s for around $500. What great fun I had rubbing it in on that first night that I had them over. “Look John, chicken over here, steak over here! Chicken over here, steak over here! Chicken! Steak! Chicken! Steak!” All the while opening and closing each lid. Then I moved on to the steamer / fryer unit. “I can make fries over here too, can you do that?” I asked. It was a ton of fun.

There’s not too much I can say in the negative about this grill, it’s pretty, it has four burners and a rotisserie. The battery powered push button start is pretty cool too. No more big bang, bang, bang when lighting your grill. The double cooking surface is a plus if you’ve got someone with food allergies in your family. You can cook fish over one on one side and meat on the other. (If I remember correctly, this could be helpful in preparing Kosher meals as well.)

The only negatives I can come up with is that the two cooking sides are kind of small. The grill takes up a lot of room, but the double lid causes you to lose a few inches of cooking space. Also there is no thermometer on the grill, just in the fryer.
