When ever I have a choice of which type of grill to use, there is one easy choice, the charcoal type grill is always my first choice.

Charcoal grills have much better taste than gas grills, if you taste the two types together, it is not hard to decide the charcoal types have a much better tasting smoke taste.

The Weber Smokey Joe Grill is the perfect size grill for small families or apartment type dwellers. It is also perfect for the lake home, which is where I have used this grill, its small size makes it easy to store, and it can be safely used on a wooden deck without worrying about setting the deck on fire. A pan is under the grill to catch all the loose ashes, and hot coals.

If you have are cooking for more than 3 people, you may want to consider a larger grill, I have cooked steaks for 7 people with this grill, but only 3 steaks would fit at a time, so I just cooked the well done ones first, and started piling them up on one side while I cooked the rest.

I cooked mine last because I like them extra rare.

A vent is on top, so you can get the perfect temperature, usually after I get it going good, I close the vent halfway, and the temp is about right.

A wooden handle is on top of the lid to prevent it from getting hot.

The cooker has a heavy coating of paint which should give you years of service, and has heavy chrome plating on the grill racks.
