We got a Brinkmann charcoal smoker about two years ago. We have tried smoking a lot of different things, from turkey,which is my favorite, to fish, beef, venison, sausage, and even pork. We have tried all different kinds of injection liquids and different kinds of smoking chips. Everything we smoked turned out great, except for maybe the fish, which I didn’t really care for. It takes quite a while to smoke a whole turkey, and you have to be there to add more charcoal after a few hours. I usually end up finishing the turkey in the oven, but it still has that delicious smoked flavor. Our smoker was a great investment for the $40.00 or $50.00 that we paid for it. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys cooking and trying new methods of cooking.
